The Comprehensive Connectivity Co. LC-ST-OM3-2M is a duplex multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-speed data network installations. It features a 50/125 micron OM3-grade core with LC connectors on one end and ST connectors on the other, supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet transmission over a 2-meter cable length. The aqua jacket color is the standard OM3 identifier, making it easy to sort and trace in structured cabling environments. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors use this cable to interconnect switches, patch panels, transceivers, and fiber distribution frames in data centers and enterprise LAN installations.
This patch cable is suited for horizontal and backbone runs in structured cabling systems where OM3 multimode fiber is already deployed. Common applications include server room cross-connects, SFP transceiver pigtail connections, and equipment-to-patch-panel links in both commercial and light industrial environments. The duplex configuration supports full-duplex fiber links as required by 10GBase-SR and similar standards. The 2-meter length fits tight rack and cabinet runs without excess slack.
Designed as a standard-format OM3 multimode duplex patch cable compatible with LC and ST fiber ports found on switches, media converters, fiber patch panels, and SFP transceivers operating at 10GB or lower data rates on 50/125 multimode fiber infrastructure.
Low-voltage cabling technicians and network installers handle fiber patch cable termination and routing. Before connecting, ensure all fiber end-faces are clean using approved fiber optic cleaning tools, as contamination is the leading cause of insertion loss. Do not bend the cable below its minimum bend radius and avoid sharp kinks or pinch points during routing. Follow TIA-568 structured cabling standards for fiber slack management and labeling in patch panels and enclosures.
