The Comprehensive Connectivity Co. CAT5-350-100BLK is a Cat5e patch cable measuring 100 feet in length with a black jacket. Cat5e cabling supports data transmission at up to 1 Gigabit per second and is rated for 350 MHz bandwidth performance. This cable is used to connect network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels, and workstations. It is a standard structured-cabling component found in both commercial and residential network installations. Low-voltage technicians, electricians, and IT infrastructure contractors are the typical installers. The black jacket aids in color-coded cable management in rack environments.
This patch cable is suited for horizontal runs and equipment-room connections in commercial office networks, data centers, and residential structured-wiring setups. At 100 feet, it covers longer rack-to-device or floor-to-closet runs where shorter patch cables fall short. It ships as a single cable per unit and is ready to terminate or plug in without additional tooling.
Designed as a standard Cat5e patch cable compatible with RJ45 keystone jacks, patch panels, switches, routers, and other 8P8C-terminated network equipment following TIA/EIA-568 wiring standards.
Installation is typically performed by low-voltage technicians or network cabling contractors. Route cables away from high-voltage conduit and fluorescent lighting to reduce electromagnetic interference, in accordance with TIA-569 guidelines. Do not bend the cable below its minimum bend radius or use staples that compress the jacket, as both can degrade signal performance. Verify continuity and wire map with a cable tester after installation.
