The foil shield around the four twisted pairs provides protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), making it well suited for installations in electrically noisy environments such as mechanical rooms, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings. Solid conductors support permanent horizontal runs between patch panels and wall jacks. Licensed low-voltage technicians and structured cabling installers are the primary end users for this product.
