The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS TYP3872-53 is a pistol-grip air blow gun designed for high-volume blowoff tasks in industrial, automotive, and general shop environments. It delivers 51 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) through a high flow multi-jet nozzle, making it well suited for clearing chips, debris, dust, and moisture from parts and machinery. The aluminum body and nozzle offer a solid, lightweight construction. The 3/8 NPT inlet accommodates standard compressed-air supply lines. A variable trigger allows the operator to dial in airflow for controlled blowoff rather than full-blast delivery at all times. Licensed HVAC, mechanical, and industrial trades regularly stock this tool for shop and field use.
The TYP3872-53 is built for professional shop environments where frequent, extended blowoff tasks demand reliable airflow and a durable tool. The 72-inch tube length gives operators reach into deep assemblies, machinery enclosures, and hard-to-access areas without repositioning. The integral hanging hook keeps the gun accessible and off workbenches between uses. The OSHA-compliant rating is relevant for facilities subject to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.242(b) requirements governing dead-end pressure in air blowoff applications. The 80-decibel rating and multi-jet nozzle design work together to reduce noise compared to open-pipe blowoff methods.
Designed for use with standard 3/8 NPT compressed-air supply lines in industrial, automotive, and general shop pneumatic systems operating within the specified temperature and pressure range.
Install and service pneumatic blow guns only after isolating and depressurizing the supply line. Thread the 3/8 NPT inlet connection by hand first, then wrench-tighten to avoid cross-threading aluminum fittings. Always wear appropriate eye and hearing protection during operation. Confirm facility air supply pressure does not exceed the rated limits of the tool before connecting.
