The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS S38-50B53 is a coiled self-storing pneumatic hose designed for compressed-air service in shop, industrial, and field environments. Built from nylon with brass male swivel fittings on both ends, this hose measures 3/8 inch inside diameter and 1/2 inch outside diameter, stretching to a full 50-foot working length. It handles up to 230 psi maximum working pressure and operates across a wide temperature range of -60 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The coiled design returns to a compact form after use, reducing trip hazards and keeping work areas organized. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general mechanical contractors install this type of hose on air compressor drop lines and portable tool setups.
This hose is suited for residential and light commercial shop applications where a self-retracting air supply line is preferred. The 50-foot extended length provides adequate reach for most bay or job-site scenarios without requiring a hose reel. Male swivel fittings on both ends allow connection to standard air outlets and pneumatic tools without twisting the hose body. The blue nylon construction resists abrasion and is easy to identify in multi-hose environments. It is a practical replacement or addition for any compressed-air distribution setup where hose management and reach are priorities.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit coiled air hose for standard 3/8 inch compressed-air systems using male swivel NPT connections.
Installation of pneumatic hose should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed-air systems. Depressurize and lock out the air supply before disconnecting or connecting hose assemblies. Verify that fitting thread size and type match the existing outlet and tool connections before applying pressure. Do not exceed the 230 psi maximum working pressure rating or operate outside the rated temperature range.
