The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS RP0618S is a lead-in whip hose designed to connect a primary air supply hose to a pneumatic tool, reducing stress and wear at the tool inlet. Built from neoprene, it handles a working pressure of 200 psi and operates across a wide temperature range of -40 degrees F to 212 degrees F. The 3/8-inch inside diameter bore maintains adequate airflow for most general-purpose pneumatic tools. At 1.5 feet in length, it serves as a short, flexible transition section that absorbs vibration and allows the tool to pivot freely without kinking the main supply line. Typically installed by industrial maintenance technicians, assembly line workers, or pneumatic equipment specialists.
This whip hose is suited for use in industrial, manufacturing, and workshop environments wherever a flexible lead-in connection is needed between a fixed or coiled air supply hose and a handheld pneumatic tool. The FNPT x MNPT swivel end connections allow the hose to spin freely without twisting, making it practical for applications where the operator rotates or repositions frequently. The neoprene construction provides reasonable resistance to oils, abrasion, and moderate heat typical of production floor conditions.
Designed as a standard lead-in whip hose for use with 3/8-inch FNPT x MNPT pneumatic fittings in general compressed air tool applications.
A licensed or qualified pneumatic systems technician should install this hose after fully depressurizing the air supply line. Inspect both end fittings and mating ports for thread damage before installation. Tighten swivel fittings to hand-tight plus a moderate wrench turn — do not overtighten neoprene-lined connections. Verify the assembled connection does not exceed the 200 psi working pressure rating of this hose.
