The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS PT0404-100KD is a flexible black polyurethane pneumatic tubing rated for a maximum working pressure of 148 psi and a temperature range of -60 to 200 degrees F. The tube measures 0.16 inches inside diameter by 0.25 inches outside diameter and ships in a 100-foot coil. With a Shore A hardness of 95A, this tubing holds its shape under pressure while remaining flexible enough for tight routing paths in compressed air distribution systems. It is a practical choice for pneumatic control lines, automation equipment, and tool supply runs in industrial and commercial settings. Licensed HVAC technicians, pneumatic system installers, and industrial maintenance techs are the primary users.
This tubing is well suited for compressed air service in light industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. It is compatible with Coilock Push-to-Connect Fittings and Poly-Tube Fittings as specified by the manufacturer. The 100-foot coil length provides enough run for most equipment drops, panel feeds, or manifold connections without the need for mid-run splices. The black color resists UV degradation in exposed indoor installations. It meets UL94HB flame-spread compliance, making it appropriate for use in enclosed equipment panels and control cabinets.
Designed for use with Coilock Push-to-Connect Fittings and Poly-Tube Fittings as stated by the manufacturer.
Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before cutting or connecting tubing. Use a clean, square tube cut — a dedicated tubing cutter is preferred over a knife to ensure a leak-free seat in push-to-connect fittings. Verify that all fitting body ratings meet or exceed the 148 psi working pressure of this tubing. Follow applicable workplace pneumatic safety codes and equipment manufacturer guidelines when routing and securing tubing runs.
