The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS PE0417-100D is a flexible polyethylene pneumatic tube rated for demanding shop and industrial air line applications. With a 0.25-inch outside diameter and 0.170-inch inside diameter, this 100-foot coil delivers reliable low-pressure and medium-pressure airflow throughout a system. It handles a maximum working pressure of 173 psi and operates across a wide temperature range of -45 degrees F to 165 degrees F. The natural color finish and Shore D 50 hardness make this tube easy to route, cut to length, and connect using standard push-to-connect or poly-tube fittings. Licensed trades and maintenance technicians use this tube for air distribution, instrumentation, and fluid transfer lines.
This polyethylene tube is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial compressed air systems. It is compatible with Coilock push-to-connect fittings and standard poly-tube fittings, making it a straightforward drop-in choice for new installations or repair work. The 100-foot coil length provides enough material to complete most single-zone or multi-drop air supply runs without splicing. FDA and NSF-51 compliance also makes it appropriate for use in food-service or food-processing environments where incidental contact with regulated surfaces is a concern.
Designed for use with Coilock push-to-connect fittings and standard poly-tube fittings. Suitable as a direct replacement or new-installation tube in compressed air distribution systems requiring 1/4-inch OD polyethylene tubing.
Depressurize and lock out the air supply before cutting into any existing air line. Use a sharp, square tube cutter or deburring tool to ensure a clean cut end before inserting the tube into push-to-connect fittings. Verify the fitting is rated to meet or exceed the 173 psi working pressure of this tube before pressurizing the system. Installation should follow applicable local codes and the fitting manufacturer's assembly instructions.
