The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS MR1 is a miniature compressed air regulator designed to control and maintain downstream air pressure in pneumatic systems. Built from zinc, this compact regulator accepts 1/8 inch NPT connections and handles a maximum supply pressure of 250 psi, with an output range of 0 to 125 psi. At 0.3 pounds, the MR1 is suited for space-constrained installations where a full-size regulator is impractical. It delivers up to 11 CFM of maximum air flow and includes a built-in relief function to vent excess pressure when the outlet is deadheaded. Licensed pneumatic system technicians and industrial maintenance professionals are the primary installers.
The MR1 is used in compressed air distribution systems where localized pressure control is needed at individual tool drops, instrument supply lines, or small pneumatic actuator circuits. Its miniature form factor makes it a practical fit for bench-mounted setups, panel assemblies, and portable pneumatic equipment. The 1/8 inch NPT port size is common in light-duty pneumatic tooling and instrumentation applications. The unit does not include a pressure gauge, but a 1/8 inch gauge port thread is present if a gauge needs to be added downstream. No modular manifold connection is supported.

Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic or industrial maintenance technician. Isolate and depressurize the air supply line completely before removing or installing the regulator. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to all NPT connections and tighten to hand-tight plus the appropriate additional turns per NPT fitting practice — do not overtighten zinc-bodied fittings. After installation, slowly restore supply pressure and check all connections for leaks before returning the system to service.
