The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS MFC2 is a miniature combination filter/regulator unit designed to condition compressed air in pneumatic systems. This single-piece FRL handles both filtration and pressure regulation in a compact form factor, making it suited for space-constrained installations. It accepts a 1/4 NPT port connection, delivers up to 25 SCFM flow capacity, and holds a maximum supply pressure of 150 psi. The zinc body and polycarbonate bowl provide a durable, lightweight assembly. A 20-micron filter element removes particulates before air reaches downstream tooling or instrumentation. Licensed pneumatic technicians and industrial maintenance professionals are the primary installers.
The MFC2 is applied in light industrial and commercial pneumatic systems where a single compact unit needs to both filter and regulate air pressure. Typical installations include small pneumatic tool circuits, automation equipment, and bench-top air lines where panel or manifold space is limited. The miniature body series is well matched to low-flow branch circuits running hand tools, actuators, or instrumentation. The manual drain bowl requires periodic attention during maintenance intervals to purge accumulated condensate from the 1.5-ounce bowl.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct installation unit for miniature FRL positions in compressed air systems using 1/4 NPT porting and operating within 150 psi supply pressure limits.
Installation is performed by qualified pneumatic or mechanical technicians. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing this unit. Verify inlet and outlet flow direction prior to tightening NPT fittings; use appropriate thread sealant per system requirements and applicable codes. Do not exceed the 150 psi maximum supply pressure or the 120 degrees F maximum operating temperature rating.
