The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS CH12 is a closed-check ball foot air chuck constructed from heavy-duty brass. It connects to air hoses via a 1/4-inch barbed fitting and is designed for non-gauged tire inflation in shop and field service applications. The closed-check valve design prevents air loss when the chuck is disengaged from the valve stem, allowing a cleaner, more controlled inflation process. Built for heavy-duty use, the brass body resists corrosion and wear, supporting a long service life in demanding environments. Automotive technicians, fleet mechanics, and tire service professionals use this chuck as a reliable daily-use inflation tool.
This chuck is suited for tire service bays, fleet maintenance shops, and roadside service operations where fast, repeatable connections to Schrader valve stems are required. The ball foot design allows the chuck to lock onto the valve stem at an angle, which is especially useful when working around wheel weights, tight spoke clearances, or low-profile wheels. It performs best in non-gauged inflation setups where a separate in-line gauge or tank-mounted gauge is already part of the air supply system.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit chuck for standard Schrader valve tire inflation setups using non-gauged air supply lines with 1/4-inch barbed hose connections.
Installation is performed by pressing the barbed fitting firmly into a compatible 1/4-inch air hose end or pushing it through a hose barb clamp assembly. Depressurize the air line before connecting or disconnecting the chuck from the hose. No special tools are required for hose attachment, but a hose clamp driver may be used if a clamp is applied over the barb. Verify that the air supply pressure does not exceed the rated capacity of the hose and associated fittings in the inflation system.
