The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS 8823MD is a heavy-duty compressed air filter designed to remove particulate contamination from pneumatic system supply lines. Built on the Series 88 platform, it features a cast aluminum body and a sintered bronze filter media rated at 40 microns. The aluminum bowl holds up to 4 ounces of collected liquid and includes an integrated sight glass for visual monitoring of bowl level. An automatic drain removes accumulated moisture and contaminants without manual intervention. Licensed pipefitters and pneumatic system technicians install this filter as part of point-of-use or mainline air preparation assemblies.
The 8823MD is suited for industrial and commercial compressed air systems where consistent air quality is required at the tool or equipment inlet. The 3/8 inch NPT port size makes it a practical fit for mid-capacity pneumatic circuits serving air tools, cylinders, and control instrumentation. Its automatic drain function reduces maintenance intervals in applications where continuous operation is critical and manual servicing is impractical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation filter for compressed air preparation systems using 3/8 inch NPT inline connections in industrial and commercial pneumatic applications.
Installation is performed by qualified pipefitters or pneumatic system technicians. Isolate and depressurize the air supply line completely before installing or servicing this filter. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to all NPT connections and verify for leaks after pressurizing. Mount the filter in an upright orientation to allow proper bowl drainage and sight glass visibility.
