The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS 8823D is a compressed air filter designed to remove particulate contamination from pneumatic supply lines. Rated at 40 microns, it catches debris that can damage downstream tools, valves, and actuators. The polycarbonate bowl provides a clear view of collected liquid and particulate without disassembly. An automatic drain removes accumulated moisture and condensate without manual intervention, reducing maintenance downtime in production and service environments. This filter is suited for installation at point-of-use or at the inlet of pneumatic control panels. Installation is handled by industrial maintenance technicians and plumbers working with compressed air systems.
The 8823D fits into standard compressed air distribution systems where 3/8 inch NPT connections are used. With a 4 oz bowl capacity and 5 inch installed height, it is sized for compact installations in tight equipment bays, service vehicles, or wall-mounted filter-regulator assemblies. It is appropriate for light industrial, automotive service, and general-purpose pneumatic applications where clean, dry air is required at the tool or device inlet.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install compressed air filter for pneumatic systems using 3/8 inch NPT ported connections in light industrial and general-purpose service applications.
A licensed industrial maintenance technician or experienced pneumatic systems installer should perform installation. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply line completely before threading the filter into the line. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to the NPT threads and tighten to the fitting manufacturer specification using a pipe wrench — do not overtighten polycarbonate bowl assemblies. Verify the automatic drain is unobstructed and positioned to allow free discharge after installation.
