The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS 8804GL is a heavy-duty T-handle compressed air regulator designed for demanding industrial and shop air applications. Built from cast aluminum, this Series 88 regulator handles supply pressures up to 250 psi and delivers up to 80 CFM of regulated airflow. The T-handle design allows for quick, tool-free pressure adjustments under load. An integrated relief function vents downstream pressure when the set point is reduced, a critical feature for safe operation in production and service environments. Licensed mechanical contractors, industrial maintenance techs, and pneumatic system installers are the primary users of this type of regulator.
The 8804GL is suited for both stationary compressed air systems and portable compressor setups where a reliable, high-flow regulator is needed at a branch or tool drop point. The 1/2 inch NPT port sizing makes it appropriate for medium- to high-demand tool circuits, multi-drop airline manifolds, and heavy-duty air tool stations in automotive, manufacturing, and mechanical service shops. The included pressure gauge gives technicians a direct visual reference at the regulator body without requiring a separate gauge tee.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or upgrade regulator for compressed air systems using 1/2 inch NPT connections and requiring up to 80 CFM flow capacity.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic systems technician or licensed mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable local and OSHA compressed air safety guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the air line fully before removing any existing regulator or fittings. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to all NPT connections and avoid over-tightening cast fittings. After installation, bring system pressure up gradually and verify gauge reading and downstream setpoint before returning tools or equipment to service.
