The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS 8802KL is a heavy-duty tamper-proof compressed air regulator designed for industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. Built on the Series 88 platform, it accepts a maximum supply pressure of 250 psi and delivers a regulated output range of 0 to 60 psi through a 1/4 inch NPT port. Maximum airflow capacity is 40 CFM. The cast aluminum body provides a durable, lightweight housing suited to demanding shop and production environments. A T-handle design resists unauthorized pressure adjustments, making it appropriate for shared or multi-user compressed air stations. Licensed mechanics, industrial maintenance technicians, and pneumatic system installers are the primary service trades for this component.
The 8802KL fits inline on compressed air distribution systems where downstream tools, actuators, or equipment require a fixed, tamper-resistant pressure setting. Typical applications include assembly lines, automotive service bays, spray finishing stations, and general maintenance air drops where pressure consistency is critical and unintended adjustment must be prevented. The relief function vents excess downstream pressure when the regulator is adjusted downward, protecting downstream equipment from pressure spikes.
Designed as an OEM-style inline replacement or new-installation regulator for compressed air distribution systems using 1/4 inch NPT connections and operating within the 250 psi maximum supply pressure rating.
Installation should be performed by a qualified industrial maintenance technician or licensed pipefitter familiar with compressed air systems. Depressurize and lock out the air supply line completely before removing any existing regulator or installing this unit. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to the NPT threads and do not overtighten, as cast aluminum fittings can be damaged by excessive force. Verify that system supply pressure does not exceed 250 psi and that downstream demand does not require airflow beyond 40 CFM.
