The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS 660-S is a standard safety air blow gun designed for compressed-air blow-off tasks in industrial and shop environments. Fitted with a 1/4 NPT inlet and a brass nozzle, it delivers up to 10 SCFM of airflow while maintaining a noise level in the 84 to 87 dB range. The ergonomic grip reduces hand fatigue during extended use, and the compact body allows operation in tight spaces. Built to meet OSHA 1910.242(b) dead-man safety and OSHA 1910.95 noise standards, this blow gun is suitable for machinists, maintenance technicians, and assembly-line personnel who need a code-compliant, corrosion-resistant tool for routine air-cleaning work.
The 660-S is suited for light industrial production floors, automotive shops, HVAC equipment rooms, and general maintenance applications where OSHA-compliant blow-off tools are required. The 1/4 NPT inlet threads directly onto standard compressed-air quick-connect fittings and hard-piped drops. Its operating temperature range of 32 degrees F to 175 degrees F covers most indoor shop environments. The compact profile makes it a practical choice for technicians who store the gun on a tool belt or in a service bag between tasks.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit addition for compressed-air systems using standard 1/4 NPT threaded connections.
Installation is performed by a qualified maintenance technician or pneumatic system operator. Isolate the compressed-air supply and bleed residual pressure from the line before connecting or disconnecting the blow gun. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the 1/4 NPT male inlet per shop practice before threading onto the air supply fitting. Never defeat or modify the safety tip, as doing so violates OSHA 1910.242(b) requirements.
