The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS 606P-S is a thumb-lever air blow gun with an OSHA-compliant safety extension tube, designed for compressed-air cleaning and drying tasks in industrial and shop environments. The 6-inch zinc-body tube extends reach while keeping airflow within OSHA 1910.242(b) dead-end pressure limits, and the brass nozzle delivers up to 10 SCFM at a measured noise level of 84 to 87 decibels. A black premium coating provides enhanced corrosion resistance. The ergonomic thumb lever is a redesign of traditional thumb-lever models, reducing hand fatigue during extended use. Licensed tradespeople and maintenance technicians are the primary installers and users of this tool.
The 606P-S is suited for general-purpose blow-off applications in manufacturing facilities, automotive shops, HVAC service, plumbing and mechanical rooms, and light industrial maintenance. The 1/4 NPT inlet connects directly to standard shop-air quick-connect fittings or compressed-air hose assemblies. The safety extension tube design makes this blow gun appropriate for environments where OSHA air-safety compliance is required, including regulated worksites and facilities subject to inspection under OSHA 1910.242(b) and 1910.95 noise exposure standards.
Designed for use with standard 1/4 NPT compressed-air supply lines and compatible quick-connect fittings typical of shop and industrial pneumatic systems.
Installation and use are performed by maintenance technicians, HVAC service professionals, and shop personnel working with compressed-air systems. Depressurize the air supply line before connecting or disconnecting the blow gun from the air circuit. Verify the 1/4 NPT inlet thread engagement is secure and leak-free before applying line pressure. Follow applicable OSHA compressed-air safety regulations and facility lockout/tagout procedures when servicing the connected air system.
