The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS 27L3 is a standard compressed air lubricator designed to introduce metered oil mist into a pneumatic system, protecting downstream tools and equipment from premature wear. Built around a cast aluminum body and a polycarbonate bowl with an integrated bowl guard, the 27L3 handles airflow up to 160 CFM through a 3/8 inch NPT port. At 8 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter, it fits compactly into most filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assemblies. This unit is part of the Series 27 modular line, allowing it to connect directly with compatible Series 27 components for integrated air preparation. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance technicians, and pneumatic system installers are the primary end users.
The 27L3 is suited for standard compressed air distribution systems in light industrial, commercial, and workshop environments. Its 160 CFM capacity accommodates multi-tool drops or single high-demand pneumatic tools. The modular connection feature makes it well suited for inline installation within an FRL station alongside a filter and regulator. The polycarbonate bowl with bowl guard provides visual oil level monitoring while adding impact protection. Applications include pneumatic hand tool lines, production air systems, and maintenance air drops where continuous lubrication is required.

Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic system technician or maintenance professional. Depressurize and de-energize the air system completely before removing or installing any FRL component. Follow the airflow direction arrow marked on the body and ensure all NPT threads are sealed with appropriate thread sealant. After installation, pressurize slowly and inspect all connections for leaks before returning the system to service.
