The CODA RESOURCES tp-gc-581212mm-24 is a flexible gas connector designed for connecting gas appliances to supply lines in both indoor and outdoor installations. Built from 304 stainless steel with an annealed finish, it delivers the strength and flexibility required for reliable service. The connector measures 5/8 inches outer diameter with 1/2 inch male iron pipe (MIP) fittings on each end and an overall flexible length of 24 inches. Flared end fittings create a secure metal-to-metal seal at each connection point. An optional yellow coating enhances gas line visibility and adds a layer of protection against chemical corrosion. Licensed plumbers and gas fitters install this type of connector as a final appliance drop or stub-out connection.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a flexible gas connection is needed between a shut-off valve and an appliance. Typical installations include gas ranges, dryers, water heaters, and similar gas-fired equipment. It is rated for use with both natural gas and LP (propane) gas, making it versatile across different fuel supply systems. The 24-inch length provides working room to align appliances without stressing the connection. The yellow coating option allows quick identification of gas lines during rough-in inspection and service calls.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation connector for residential and light commercial gas appliances requiring a 5/8 inch OD flexible connector with 1/2 inch MIP inlet and outlet connections on natural gas or LP gas systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with local codes and IFGC requirements. Shut off the gas supply at the main valve and verify zero pressure in the line before disconnecting or installing any connector. Do not kink, over-bend, or use the connector as a rigid support for the appliance. After installation, test all connections with an approved leak-detection solution before restoring gas service.
