The CLIMAX METAL PRODUCTS C192E-093 is a shaft locking device designed to secure rotating shafts in mechanical power transmission assemblies. It features a 15/16-inch bore diameter and a 1-3/4-inch outer diameter, making it suited for mid-range shaft applications common in HVAC fans, blowers, and pump drives. Five clamping screws distribute clamping force evenly around the bore for a firm, concentric hold. Overall width is 7/8 inch. Rated to a maximum torque of 3,204 foot-pounds, this collar is built for demanding drive applications where shaft slippage cannot be tolerated. Installation requires no keyway or set screw modification to the shaft.
The C192E-093 is used in mechanical and electromechanical assemblies where a shaft collar must lock securely without damaging the shaft surface. Typical applications include HVAC blower assemblies, pump shafts, fan drives, and industrial power transmission setups in both light commercial and residential mechanical rooms. It is installed by HVAC technicians, millwrights, and mechanical contractors during equipment assembly, replacement, or retrofit work.
Designed as an OEM-style shaft locking collar for mechanical power transmission shafts with a 15/16-inch diameter in HVAC, pump, and fan drive applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician, millwright, or mechanical contractor. Always de-energize and lock out the equipment before installing or removing the shaft locking device. Ensure the shaft surface is clean and free of burrs before seating the collar. Tighten all five screws in a star pattern to achieve uniform clamping force around the bore.
