This punch is suited for production and job-site applications where repetitive hole punching in mild steel is required. It fits a broad range of hydraulic and mechanical ironworker machines, making it a practical stock item for shops running multiple machine brands. Typical applications include punching bolt holes in structural members, plates, and bar stock in both fabrication shop and field environments.
Compatible with the following ironworker machines: Durma, Ficep, Gairu, Geka, Hendley and Whittemore, Hill-Acme/Kling, HMI (Hydraulic Machines Inc.), Ironcrafter, Kingsland, Omera, Peddinghaus, Promoco/Omes, Scotchman, and Spartan.
Installation is performed by qualified metal fabricators or ironworker machine operators. Always de-energize and lock out the ironworker machine before removing or installing tooling. Confirm that the punch and die are properly aligned and that the die clearance is appropriate for the material thickness before operating. Follow the machine manufacturer's tooling installation procedures and applicable shop safety standards.
