The CLEVELAND C72134 is a jobber-length drill bit sized to wire gauge number 34, with a decimal diameter of 0.1110 inches. Built from high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it features a standard 118-degree split-point tip and a regular spiral flute with web thinning for improved chip evacuation and reduced walking at entry. The straight-cylindrical shank seats directly into standard drill chucks without adapters. This is a general-purpose bit suited for metalworking, maintenance, and fabrication tasks where consistent hole quality in a small-diameter range is required. Licensed trades and general machinists both rely on this series for everyday drilling operations.
The C72134 is intended for general-purpose drilling in a wide range of materials where a wire-gauge size 34 hole is specified. With a 1.5-inch flute length and an overall length of 2.625 inches, it fits compact drill setups and tight-clearance applications. The 4xD flute-to-diameter ratio and tapered web configuration support clean chip removal during through-hole drilling in metals, plastics, and composite materials. This bit conforms to ASME B94.11M and DIN 338 standards, making it appropriate for production environments with documented tooling requirements.
Designed as a general-purpose jobber-length drill bit in the Cleveland Series 2002G, compatible with any standard drill chuck accepting a 0.1110-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Appropriate for use across ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and similar materials within the 0.1000 to 0.1500-inch drill bit size range.
Install in a keyed or keyless drill chuck and verify the shank is fully seated before operation. Power down and de-energize the drill press or hand tool before changing bits. Use appropriate cutting fluid or lubricant when drilling ferrous metals to extend tool life and maintain hole quality. Inspect the cutting edges and web before each use and replace bits showing signs of chipping or excessive wear.
