The CLEVELAND C72013 is a jobber-length drill bit designed for general-purpose drilling in metal, wood, and plastic. It features a 13/64-inch (0.2031-inch) diameter, a 118-degree standard point angle, and a two-flute right-hand spiral configuration that efficiently clears chips during operation. The bright, uncoated high-speed steel construction provides adequate hardness for everyday production and maintenance drilling tasks. At 3-5/8 inches overall length with a 2-7/16-inch flute length, this bit fits standard three-jaw chucks on benchtop drill presses, hand drills, and CNC drill spindles. It is sized and built to ASME B94.11M and DIN 338 standards, making it a recognized option for shops that maintain compliance with those specifications.
This drill bit is well suited for use in fabrication shops, mechanical rooms, and field service environments where consistent hole quality at fractional sizes is required. The straight-cylindrical shank accepts any standard drill chuck without adapters. The web-thinned, tapered web design reduces the thrust force needed at the cutting tip, which is useful when drilling thinner-gauge sheet metal or when working with a lower-torque cordless drill. It is sold individually per package within the Series 2002G product family.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or stock drill bit for use in any standard drill chuck accepting a straight-cylindrical shank in the 13/64-inch size range, per Series 2002G specifications.
Secure the shank fully in the drill chuck and verify the bit is centered before applying power. Always wear eye protection and ensure the workpiece is clamped or secured before drilling. Use appropriate cutting fluid when drilling ferrous metals to extend tool life and improve hole finish. Inspect the cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use and replace the bit if the point shows signs of dulling or damage.
