The CLEVELAND C60760 is a 5/16-18 UNC left-hand straight-flute hand tap designed for cutting internal threads in through-hole applications. Built from high speed steel (HSS) with a bright uncoated finish, it delivers consistent thread quality across a wide range of workpiece materials. The plug chamfer (3-5 thread lead) makes it well-suited for starting in a pre-drilled hole and threading through the full depth. With 4 flutes and a Class 3B fit to H3 thread limit, it produces tight-tolerance threads meeting standard UNC specifications. Overall length is 2-23/32 inches with a 1-1/8 inch thread length.
