The CLEVELAND C58563 is a spiral flute bottoming tap designed for blind hole threading in metal workpieces. It cuts a 1/4-20 UNC right-hand thread to a 3B class of fit with a H3 thread limit, making it well suited for close-tolerance tapping work. The tap is manufactured from high speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish. It features three right-hand flutes with a 52-degree helix angle and a fast flute style that efficiently evacuates chips upward and out of the blind hole.
