The tap is manufactured from high speed steel (HSS) and coated with titanium nitride (TiN) for improved wear resistance and reduced friction during cutting. Thread limit is H7 with a Class 2B fit, making it suitable for standard tolerance threaded fastener applications. The thread length is 0.5 inches.
