The CLEVELAND C55244 is a 3/4-10 UNC bottoming hand tap designed for cutting internal threads in both blind holes and through-holes. Built from high speed steel (HSS) with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, this tap provides extended tool life and reduced friction during threading operations. The 4-flute straight flute geometry produces clean, consistent threads in a right-hand direction. It carries a Class of Fit 2B and Thread Limit H3, making it suitable for standard tolerance threaded assemblies. At 4.25 inches overall length with a 2-inch thread length, it fits standard tap wrenches used in machine shop and field work.

This tap is intended for threading ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces including alloy steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and free-machining stainless steel.
