Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat and wear resistance needed when cutting high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, and carbon steel. The tool measures 0.75 inches in cutting diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut, a 0.75-inch straight cylindrical shank with Weldon flat, and a 5.625-inch overall length. Four right-hand spiral flutes at a 30-degree helix angle promote chip evacuation and stable cutting action. This is a centercutting tool, allowing plunge entry into workpieces without pre-drilling.

The C52186 is suited for milling operations in job shops, aerospace, and general manufacturing where high-performance tooling is required for difficult-to-machine materials.
