The CLEVELAND C46264 is a combination drill and countersink designed for simultaneous drilling and countersinking in a single operation. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright, uncoated finish, this tool handles center drilling and 60-degree countersinking without a tool change. The body diameter measures 3/16 inches, the drill point diameter is 5/64 inches, and the overall length is 1-7/8 inches. Trade size is No. 2. The 118-degree drill point angle is a standard geometry suited for most metalworking applications. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance technicians use this tool in drill presses, lathes, and CNC machining centers.
This combo drill countersink is rated for use on alloy tool steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and cast iron. Its double-end design provides a backup cutting end, extending tool life and reducing replacement frequency. The right-hand cutting direction is compatible with standard drill press and lathe spindle rotation. Plain cutting edge style keeps the tool straightforward to sharpen and redress in the field. Typical applications include countersinking fastener seats, center-drilling stock before turning between centers, and deburring drilled holes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use combo drill countersink for drill presses, manual lathes, and CNC machining centers requiring a No. 2 size, 3/16-inch body combination center drill and countersink tool.
This tool is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians using a standard drill chuck or collet holder sized for a 3/16-inch shank. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the chuck is de-energized before inserting or removing the tool. Secure the tool with appropriate chuck key torque to prevent slippage during operation. Follow shop safety practices and applicable OSHA machine guarding requirements when operating rotating cutting tools.
