The CLEVELAND C42141 is a single-end ball end mill designed for finishing operations in ferrous and cast iron applications. Built from high speed steel with a 30-degree helix angle, this tool delivers controlled chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes in right-hand cutting and right-hand flute configurations. The ball-nose geometry allows for contoured surface milling, radius profiling, and slotting where a flat-bottom tool is not suitable. With a 1 inch mill diameter and 2-flute spiral flute design, it is well suited for moderate feed rates in finishing passes on steel and cast iron workpieces.

This end mill fits into standard CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and toolroom equipment using a 1 inch straight shank. The HG-2B series targets finishing work rather than aggressive material removal, making it appropriate for tool and die shops, maintenance machining, and precision part production. Primary workpiece materials include cast iron and steel.
