A TiN (titanium nitride) coating increases surface hardness and extends tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The 30-degree helix angle and right-hand spiral flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation. This tool is centercutting, allowing it to plunge directly into the workpiece.
