The CLEVELAND C41326 is a 4-flute, high speed steel square end mill engineered for material removal and finishing operations in machining environments. With a 0.25-inch mill diameter, a 1.25-inch length of cut, and a 3.75-inch overall length, this tool fits standard milling setups using a 0.375-inch straight-cylindrical or Weldon flat shank. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the right-hand cut with right-hand spiral fluting is the industry-standard configuration for conventional milling on vertical and horizontal mills. This tool is uncoated and ships ready for use without additional surface treatment.
The C41326 is suited for job shops, tool rooms, and production machining operations that run cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel. Its centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece, expanding its utility for slotting, side milling, and pocket milling. The regular-length profile makes it a practical go-to for general-purpose work where extended reach is not required. Machinists and CNC operators working with mid-range spindle speeds and HSS-compatible feeds and speeds will find this tool fits standard programming parameters without special toolpath adjustments.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or production end mill compatible with standard 0.375-inch collets, end mill holders, and Weldon-style set-screw tool holders used in vertical mills, horizontal mills, and CNC machining centers. Specified for primary workpiece materials: cast iron, non-ferrous metal, and steel.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out, tagged-out state before tool changes. Seat the shank fully in the holder to the recommended engagement depth and verify Weldon flat alignment if using a set-screw style holder. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before commencing a cut, and consult manufacturer feeds-and-speeds data for HSS tooling before programming spindle speed and feed rate.
