The CLEVELAND C41272 is a 4-flute, single-end square end mill designed for material removal and contour milling in metalworking applications. Manufactured from high speed steel (HSS), it features a 1-inch cutting diameter, a 2-inch length of cut, and a 4-1/2-inch overall length. The spiral flute geometry and 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The straight-cylindrical shank with Weldon flat accommodates standard end mill holders and side-lock toolholders. This tool ships uncoated and is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling operations.

This end mill is suited for machining cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel in job shop, toolroom, and production environments. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is the standard setup for conventional CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
