The CLEVELAND C39030 is a single-end ball end mill designed for finishing operations in ferrous and cast iron workpiece materials. Built from high speed steel (HSS) with a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, it delivers improved wear resistance and surface hardness compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The 0.3125-inch (5/16-inch) diameter cutter features a 2-flute spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle, a 0.75-inch length of cut, and a 3/8-inch shank diameter. Overall length is 2.5 inches. Part of the HG-2B series, this end mill is suited to machining shops, tool rooms, and production environments where right-hand cutting is standard.

The C39030 is intended for finishing passes on cast iron and steel components. The ball nose profile generates contoured and radiused surfaces in milling applications. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with conventional vertical and horizontal milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills. The regular-length form factor fits standard toolholders accepting a 3/8-inch shank. No coolant-through capability is present, so flood or mist coolant is applied externally during cutting.
