Built from high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) finish, it delivers extended tool life in applications involving cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel. The cutter measures 17/32 inches (0.5313 inches) in diameter with a 1-1/8 inch length of cut and a 1/2 inch straight shank. The 30-degree spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This is a centercutting tool, allowing plunge entry directly into workpiece material. It is part of the HG-2 series and is suited for manual mills and CNC machining centers alike.
The C33774 is a regular-length end mill intended for general-purpose milling tasks on machine shop floors and maintenance operations. It handles slotting, peripheral milling, and plunge cuts in cast iron, steel, and non-ferrous metals. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is standard for conventional milling setups.
