The CLEVELAND C33619 is a square-end, single-end mill designed for left-hand cut and left-hand flute applications in metal removal operations. Manufactured from high speed steel with a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) finish, this end mill offers improved surface hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated HSS tooling. It features four spiral flutes at a 30-degree helix angle, a 0.25-inch cutting diameter, and a 0.625-inch length of cut. The 0.375-inch shank diameter and 2.4375-inch overall length make it compatible with standard collet and tool-holder setups found on vertical mills, knee mills, and CNC machining centers. Machinists and toolroom operators working on left-hand thread features or climb-milling setups will reach for this geometry.
The C33619 is suited for general-purpose milling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals where a left-hand cutting direction is required. Typical applications include slot milling, peripheral milling, and profile work on manual and CNC equipment. The regular-length geometry fits standard setups without extended reach, making it a practical choice for everyday shop use in job shops, maintenance machining, and tool-and-die environments. It belongs to the Cleveland HG-4LL series, which is engineered for left-hand helical applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tooling for milling machines accepting a 0.375-inch shank diameter end mill holder or collet. Part of the Cleveland HG-4LL series for left-hand helical end mill applications.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists following standard toolroom practices. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the drawbar or collet nut is properly torqued before beginning any cut. Verify that the machine is set for left-hand (reverse) spindle rotation before engaging the tool, as running this cutter in a right-hand spindle will damage the tool and the workpiece. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and machine manufacturer guidelines when changing tooling.
