The CLEVELAND C33450 is a single-end, square-profile end mill designed for material removal in milling operations across machining centers and manual mills. Built from high speed steel (HSS) with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it offers a 0.75 inch cutting diameter, a 4 inch length of cut, and a 6.25 inch overall length. The four-flute, spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and a stable cut. The extra-long length of cut makes it suitable for deep-pocket milling and extended-reach applications where standard-length tools fall short. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this tool in a variety of production and job-shop environments.
The C33450 is rated for primary use in cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel. Its centercutting geometry allows both plunge and conventional milling entries. The straight-cylindrical shank with Weldon flat accommodates standard side-lock and collet-style toolholders. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation match the standard spindle rotation of most vertical and horizontal machining centers. It belongs to the Cleveland HG-4C series, which is engineered for general-purpose profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling on common workpiece materials.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's toolholder torque and runout specifications. Verify shank engagement depth meets the toolholder minimum grip requirement before initiating a cut. Inspect the TiN coating and cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use and replace the tool if edge integrity is compromised.
