The CLEVELAND C33449 is a 4-flute, single-end square end mill designed for material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous machining applications. Manufactured from high speed steel (HSS) with a titanium nitride (TiN) finish, it measures 0.625 inches in diameter with a 4-inch length of cut and a 6.125-inch overall length. The 30-degree spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the centercutting design allows both plunge and peripheral milling. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and toolroom technicians on milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills.

The C33449 is suited for cutting cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel. The extra-long length of cut — starting at 4 inches — makes it appropriate for deep-pocket milling, slotting, and profiling operations where standard-length end mills cannot reach. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is compatible with standard spindle rotation. The straight-cylindrical shank includes a Weldon flat for positive tool holding in set-screw style holders, reducing pull-out risk under load.

Installation Notes

Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut or feed rate for the workpiece material and machine spindle horsepower.
