The CLEVELAND C33373 is a 4-flute, high speed steel square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in machine shop and production environments. With a 9/32 inch (0.2813 inch) cutting diameter and a 1-3/8 inch length of cut, it handles slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The straight cylindrical shank with Weldon flat measures 3/8 inch in diameter, providing secure tool holding in standard end mill holders. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This tool is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry into the workpiece. It is part of the HG-4C series, a regular-length line intended for standard reach applications.
The C33373 is suited for machining cast iron, non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and brass, and steel alloys. It fits conventional CNC machining centers and manual knee mills running appropriate speeds and feeds for HSS tooling.
