The CLEVELAND C33285 is a single-end square end mill designed for material removal in milling operations across machining centers and manual mills. Built from high speed steel (HSS) with a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, it measures 15/16 inches (0.9375 inches) in diameter with a 1-7/8 inch length of cut and a 4-1/8 inch overall length. The 7/8 inch Weldon flat shank provides positive rotational engagement in the holder. Four right-hand spiral flutes at a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation, and the centercutting geometry allows plunge milling entry. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in job shop and production environments.

The C33285 is rated for use in cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and steel. The HG-4C-TC series designation places it in a general-purpose high-performance HSS line suited to a broad range of roughing and finishing passes in those material families. Its regular-length classification makes it appropriate for standard-depth pocketing, slotting, and profiling work where extended reach is not required. No coolant-through passages are present, so flood or mist coolant must be applied externally at the cut zone.

Installation Notes
