The CLEVELAND C33272 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from high speed steel with a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) finish, it delivers extended tool life in demanding cutting applications. The cutter measures 11/16 inches (0.6875 inches) in diameter with a 1-5/8 inch length of cut and a 3-3/8 inch overall length. The 30-degree spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Center-cutting capability allows plunge entry, making this tool suitable for slotting, profiling, and pocket milling operations.
This end mill is part of the Cleveland HG-4C series, intended for regular-length milling applications in machine shops and production environments. It fits a 1/2 inch straight shank and is compatible with standard collet chucks, end mill holders, and Weldon flat-style holders. Typical workpiece materials include cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel. It suits CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where consistent tolerances and surface finish are required.

Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before installing or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully in the holder and torque the set screw or collet nut to the holder manufacturer specification. Inspect the TiCN coating and cutting edges for chips or wear before each use.
