The CLEVELAND C33102 is a double-end, four-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling in a range of metal-cutting applications. Built from high speed steel with a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, it delivers improved wear resistance and surface hardness compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The mill measures 0.1563 inches (5/32 inch) in cutting diameter with a 0.4375-inch (7/16 inch) length of cut and a 3/8-inch Weldon flat shank. Overall length is 3.125 inches. The 30-degree spiral flute geometry and right-hand cut with right-hand flute configuration are suited to chip evacuation in moderate to aggressive feed conditions. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users of this tool.
The C33102 is rated for use on cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and steel stock. Its centercutting capability allows both plunge and peripheral milling operations without a pre-drilled pilot hole. The double-end design extends tool life by providing a second usable cutting end, making it practical for production shops looking to reduce per-cut tooling cost. The regular-length classification suits most standard milling machine setups without requiring extended-reach holders.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit end mill for applications requiring a 5/32-inch diameter, 3/8-inch shank, four-flute square end mill in the Cleveland HD-4C series. Suitable for use in standard end mill holders that accept a 3/8-inch Weldon flat shank.
Installation and tool changes must be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine locked out per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Use a calibrated torque wrench when tightening set screws against the Weldon flat to ensure positive clamping without over-stressing the shank. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use. Do not exceed the feed and speed parameters recommended for the workpiece material and machine spindle rating.
