Manufactured from high speed steel (HSS) with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers improved wear resistance and extended tool life compared to uncoated HSS. The cutting diameter is 0.25 inches with a 0.625-inch length of cut and a 0.375-inch straight-cylindrical shank that also accepts a Weldon flat. Overall length is 3.375 inches. The 30-degree helix spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the centercutting configuration allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece.

This end mill is suited for milling operations on cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel in job shop, toolroom, and production environments. The double-end design provides two cutting ends on a single tool, reducing per-edge cost on repeat work.
