The CLEVELAND C33065 is a double-end square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Ground from high speed steel (HSS) and finished with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers extended tool life compared to uncoated HSS. The four-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cut finish. With a 7/32-inch (0.2188 inch) cutting diameter and a 9/16-inch length of cut, this mill suits slotting, profiling, and pocket milling operations where a compact diameter and rigid shank are required. Installed and operated by machinist and tool-and-die professionals.
The C33065 is suited for milling cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel in both production and job-shop environments. Its 3/8-inch straight-cylindrical shank with Weldon flat accepts standard ER collet chucks and Weldon-style end mill holders. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry into workpiece material without pre-drilling. The regular-length profile fits vertical machining centers, knee mills, and manual bridgeport-style machines where clearance is not a constraint.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit end mill for machines accepting a 3/8-inch straight shank. Primary workpiece materials are cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel, as designated by material codes K, N, and P in the HD-4C series. No specific machine model compatibility was provided by the manufacturer for this SKU.
A licensed machinist or qualified shop technician should install and operate this tooling. Power down and lock out the spindle drive before inserting or removing the end mill from its holder. Confirm the Weldon flat is properly aligned with the setscrew in the holder to prevent axial pullout under load. Follow shop-standard feeds, speeds, and coolant practices appropriate to the workpiece material and machine rigidity.
