The CLEVELAND C32679 is a cobalt square end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating, this end mill delivers increased wear resistance and extended tool life compared to standard HSS tooling. It features a 7/16 inch cutting diameter, a 1-3/4 inch length of cut, and a 3/8 inch straight cylindrical shank with a Weldon flat for secure tool holding. The 30-degree spiral flute geometry and 4-flute configuration promote efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cutting action. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users.

This end mill is engineered for cutting high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, and general carbon and alloy steels. Its long-series geometry, with a 3-3/4 inch overall length, allows access to deeper features and pockets where standard-length tools cannot reach. The centercutting design enables direct plunge entry into workpieces, making it suitable for slotting, profiling, and ramping operations on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills alike.
