The CLEVELAND C32667 is a cobalt square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding material applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers extended tool life and heat resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The cutter measures 0.875 inches in diameter with a 3.5-inch length of cut and a 5.75-inch overall length. It features four spiral flutes, right-hand cut, right-hand flute geometry, and a 30-degree helix angle. The centercutting design allows plunge entry. This end mill is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on vertical and horizontal milling machines and CNC machining centers.
The C32667 belongs to the long-series HGC-4C family, making it suited for applications requiring extended reach into deep pockets, slots, and stepped features. It is optimized for cutting high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, and carbon and alloy steels, covering workpiece material codes M, P, and S. The straight-cylindrical shank with Weldon flat accommodates standard end mill holders and side-lock toolholders. This is a single-end tool; once the cutting end is worn, the tool is replaced rather than indexed.
Designed for use in standard end mill holders and side-lock toolholders accepting a 0.875-inch straight shank with Weldon flat. Optimized for milling high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, and steel in the HGC-4C long-series application range.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before mounting or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully into the holder and torque the set screw against the Weldon flat per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts, as excessive runout accelerates flute wear and degrades surface finish.
