The CLEVELAND C32650 is a 4-flute cobalt square end mill engineered for demanding metal removal applications in professional machining environments. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this tool offers superior heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. It features a 13/32 inch (0.4063 inch) cutting diameter, a 1-3/4 inch length of cut, and a 3-3/4 inch overall length. The spiral flute geometry and 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This is a centercutting tool, allowing it to plunge directly into workpiece material. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals select this end mill for jobs where tool life and surface finish matter.
The C32650 is rated for use on high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, and general carbon and alloy steels. The long-series length of cut range (1.5 to 2.0 inches) makes it suitable for deeper pocketing and slot milling passes where a standard-length end mill would fall short. The 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank is compatible with standard collet chucks and accepts a Weldon flat set-screw holder for added retention in heavy-cut applications. This end mill runs right-hand cut with right-hand spiral fluting and arrives uncoated, making it ready for use in conventional flood coolant setups.

Installation is performed by a machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder and torque set screws to holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and confirm spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and depth of cut before engaging the tool.
