The CLEVELAND C32260 is a single-end square end mill engineered for demanding material removal in milling operations. Built from powdered metal with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) finish, this tool delivers extended wear resistance and heat tolerance compared to standard high-speed steel. It features a 1 inch cutting diameter, 5 flutes, and a 4 inch length of cut, making it suited for deep-cavity slotting and profiling work. The coarse pitch flute geometry supports chip evacuation in a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Installed by machinists and tooling technicians in CNC and manual milling environments.
This end mill fits standard 1 inch collet or end mill holder setups and is appropriate for vertical and horizontal milling applications. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and balanced chip load across all 5 flutes. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation match the majority of CNC machining center spindle configurations. The 6.5 inch overall length provides extended reach into workpieces without sacrificing rigidity at the 1 inch shank diameter.
Designed to fit standard 1 inch end mill holders and collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. Part of the Cleveland PMRC series of powdered metal end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and locked out before mounting or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully in the holder and torque the retention hardware per the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the TiCN coating and cutting edges for chips or wear before each use.
