The CLEVELAND C32032 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining environments. Built from M42 powdered metal with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) finish, it delivers extended tool life and heat resistance compared to standard high-speed steel. The cutter measures 0.25 inches in diameter with a 1.25-inch length of cut and a 0.375-inch straight-cylindrical shank with Weldon flat. It is part of the PM-4 Series and is suited for licensed machinists and tool-and-die professionals running vertical or horizontal milling operations on metalworking equipment.
This end mill is rated for use across multiple workpiece material categories, including cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steels, and heat-resistant superalloys, corresponding to material codes H, K, M, P, and S. The 37-degree helix spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With an overall length of 3.0625 inches, the C32032 fits standard ER and end mill holders that accept a 0.375-inch shank. It is intended for conventional milling and climb milling applications on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Compatible with workpiece material categories H (cast iron), K (non-ferrous metals), M (stainless steel), P (carbon and alloy steels), and S (heat-resistant superalloys) as designated in the supplier specifications. Accepts any tool holder designed for a 0.375-inch straight shank with Weldon flat.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists following standard tool-setting procedures for milling machines. Power down the spindle and confirm it has fully stopped before installing or removing the end mill. Secure the Weldon flat against the set screw in the tool holder to the appropriate torque per the holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
