The CLEVELAND C25313 is a straight-flute chucking reamer designed for precision hole finishing in metalworking applications. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright, uncoated finish, this reamer delivers accurate sizing at 0.1660 inches (wire size 19) and is intended for use in a standard drill chuck or machine spindle. At 4.5 inches overall length with a 1.125-inch flute length and six flutes, it provides controlled material removal and a clean, finished bore. Right-hand cutting direction suits standard machine rotation without modification.
This chucking reamer is used in production and maintenance machining environments where a wire-gauge-size hole must be finished to close tolerances. Typical applications include reaming pre-drilled holes in steel, aluminum, brass, and similar metals on drill presses, lathes, and milling machines. The straight shank allows direct mounting in collet chucks, drill chucks, and floating holders. It is sized for wire gauge 19, covering the 0.1500 to 0.1999 inch decimal range, with a nominal diameter of 0.1660 inches.
Designed as an OEM-style machine reamer for use in drill presses, lathes, and milling machines wherever a wire size 19 (0.1660 inch) finish-reamed hole is required.
Chucking reamers are installed by machinists or tool-and-die technicians in accordance with machine tool operating procedures. Secure the straight shank firmly in a drill chuck, collet, or floating holder before operation, and ensure the spindle is fully stopped before tool changes. Always pre-drill the hole to an appropriate undersize before reaming — do not use a chucking reamer as a primary drill. Follow applicable shop safety standards and machine manufacturer guidelines for feed rate and cutting fluid selection.
